Here is a short video I made explaining how to use the radar.
I often see players not knowing how to locate C4 when it is not visible. The radar is your friend.
The radar is a simplified overview of the playing field. It shows your field of view indicated with a lighter shade of green.

Seeing the same from the top view would look like this.
I think you get it.
Red dot = C4 "Blinking means it is detonated...!"
White dots = your team "Blinking yellow = using Radio"
You do not see enemies; only Terror will see where the C4 is.
If you play as a Terrorist, you should always know more or less where the C4 is.
If you play as a Counter-Terrorist, it is an excellent help to know where the rest of your team is.
