Naked women and free beer to everyone!

Updated: Nov 18, 2023

OK, I admit the title is misleading. Clickbait!

However, the title does not promise anything by itself, as you would not know what the title means only with your own assumptions of something led you here.

If the title had been Instagram is Manipulating you would probably have thought yeah I know that shit and still spend half your day scrolling endless videos of young women in bikini jumping around or 30 seconds of the next superstar to come!

DON'T LEAVE YET YOU MIGHT LEARN SOMETHING IF YOU CONTINUE TO READ!

I will make it short so you can read it when you wait for.....

Have you ever tried to write a comment on Instagram that questions the actual value or fact of the content?

I have. Several times before I realized that any comment that is not positive towards the content is automatically removed.

Left are only positive comments :) HURRAH WE ARE ALL HAPPY IT IS FANTASTIC!

WTF Wake up! Instagram is more or less a modern shopping catalogue in one way or another and since Instagram wins money from advertisement it's obvious that they do not like to have anyone questioning their products.

There are great things about Instagram in its core functionality. The idea that we can share photos and videos with people from all over the world is fantastic. I love to see videos of other cultures and endless amounts of aspiring talents performing sometimes incredible things.

But...There are so many other videos which are somehow related to point you in the direction of a political view. It is subtle as Instagram supposedly is objective and not a political platform but Instagram does have the power to excess such if needed.

I think one thing is to manipulate the users and only show positive comments it is a vague reflection of reality on many levels. We learn from the critique we get and from seeing how other people solve the same problems. Compare the solutions and find the best solution. We don't evolve if we do not receive honest feedback. So who are we deceiving? The content creator or the public? I guess both unless we are aware and even then it will still be manipulation.

I think it is sad that economic gain to individuals is above helping humanity to grow into better people.
